Nasi Kandar

This is a complete meal for those who love aromatic spices. It is rice served with a vast selection of curries and dishes. You will find dishes cooked with fish, mutton, chicken, squid, prawns and beef.

Asam Laksa

It is made with mackerel soup and it taste sour because of the asam or tamarind. Other ingredients that gives the unique taste includes lemongrass, galangal and chilli. Served with garnishes like mint, pineapple slices, sliced onion, thick sweet prawn paste and torch ginger flower.

Char Koay Teow

This hawker fare made from flat rice noodles, stir-fried with light and dark soy sauce, chilli, whole prawns, cockles, bean sprouts and chopped Chinese chives. It is commonly stir-fried with egg, slices of Chinese sausage and fishcake. It is commonly served on a piece of banana leaf on a plate.

Hokkien Mee

The Penang version of this dish is also known as Prawn Noodle. It is craved by many especially those who are not local. Yellow noodle is cooked together with prawn soup. Its definitely a local favourite!

Rojak

A mouth watering mix of fresh fruits and vegetables like guava, pineapples, cucumber, turnip and water apples with slices of cuttlefish. It is then generously topped with yummy prawn paste dressing. You will scream for more.
